Finding the Right Prospects

10 minutes7 steps

Finding the right prospects is the foundation of effective outreach. This guide shows you how to search, filter and prioritise companies so you're always reaching out to the most relevant leads.

1

Open the Prospects page

Click "Prospects" in the sidebar to open your prospect list. This is where all your discovered companies live.

2

Use the search bar

Find companies by name, industry or region using the search bar at the top. Try the AI search (Ctrl+K) with natural language like "IT consultancies in Manchester with 50+ employees". The AI interprets your intent and returns matching results.

3

Apply filters

Narrow your results using the filter panel on the left. Filter by industry, region, employee size, turnover band and company status. Combine multiple filters to zero in on your ideal prospects.

4

Use the "Corporate Only" toggle

Toggle "Corporate Only" to filter out sole traders. This is important for PECR-compliant outreach because corporate subscribers (limited companies, PLCs and LLPs) can receive unsolicited B2B marketing emails without prior consent.

5

Sort by AI Score

Sort by AI Score to see the highest-priority prospects first. The score factors in fit, intent, contactability and compliance so the best opportunities float to the top.

6

Click "Explain Why"

Click "Explain Why" on any prospect card to see the evidence behind the score. You'll see exactly why the AI recommended this company, including the data points and signals it considered.

7

Save your search

Click "Save Search" to reuse these filters later. Saved searches appear in the sidebar so you can return to them with a single click. New prospects matching your criteria will appear automatically.
